Distribution Center Director

Growing public US manufacturing company, located in the Plainville IL area, seeks an experienced Distribution Center Director. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you and your team will have total site responsibility for the 800,000+ sq. ft distribution center, 300 people and 10,000+ SKU's. This highly automated facility will grow in volume 3x in the next 24 months. The successful candidate will have experience with high volume pick/pack order fulfillment, staffing/training, carrier negotiations/selection and budgeting. A record of success in improving customer satisfaction while reducing costs is essential. This is a 'hands on' position which requires strong interpersonal/communications, analytical and computer skills. Requirements: 7+ years' experience in warehousing and distribution in a high-volume environment (10k active SKU's). This should include 3+ years supervisory experience in a multi shift DC with at least 4 direct reports and 75+ employees. The successful candidate should be familiar with replenishment order picking and shipping strategies, pick/pack operations (pick modules, light picking, RF scan/pick), material handling equipment, customer sampling process, and return processing. Experience with new business integration, warehouse consolidation and WMSdesired. Relocation assistance provided.
Salary Range: $144K - $168K

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
