Provides patient care at AHP physician site. This includes, but not limited to injections, vitals, history gathering, office laboratory testing, telephone triage and patient education. Assesses needs and responds to customers / patients in a professional manner conforming to the standards of behavior. Position carries the expressed authority to carry out the duties as defined in the job description. These services are performed under the medical direction and supervision, as determined by the physician(s) and supervisor. Day-to-day responsibilities require good use of judgment regarding timely and appropriate communication with the patients, staff and physicians. Recognizes the need for team work and functions as such.
Requirements
Experience with injections required. Experience in family practice preferred. 1 year medical assistant experience required; 3 or 4 years experience preferred. Skill in the use of EMR, basic computer software applications and associated office equipment. CPR certification required. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, co-workers and the public. Skill in conducting appropriate written, oral and telephone communications. Skill in conducting phlebotomy procedures, lab specimen collection and processing in accordance with protocol requirements. Skill in the ability to administer oral, injectable, topical and intravenous medications as required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
