(Independent contractors) Hiring for the current 2023-2024 School Year for interpreters in-person in Plainfield! Fluent in Spanish and English Experienced interpreter and translator in Spanish to English and English to Spanish Effective and proficient communicator Experienced in translating for students in school environments and IEPs Loves working with children and families and has a passion for Spanish Creative and energetic Must be able to read, write, and understand English and Spanish Must be eligible to work in the U.

and pass DCFS background check Schedule will be very part-time/seasonal and will be as needed dependent on when school districts and other partners schedule an interpretation More hours are available for those who can teach Spanish after school, too! To be discussed Training on-the-job, workshops, materials, and support will be provided Our mission is to bring languages to children, serve communities, and build lifelong, global learners.
Interpretations will be in-person with some virtual.
